José Luis Bátiz López

Professor

Academic and expert in international law, international relations, and global development, with a PhD in Global Society Law from the University of Navarra. He has been a member of the National System of Researchers of CONACYT and works as a researcher on the legal effects of the State in Brazil. He has worked as director of the School of Social Sciences and Government at the Tec de Monterrey and as co-editor of the PROFMEX Journal at UCLA. He has extensive research and consulting experience in economic, political and social areas. In addition, he has published several books and articles on justice, human rights and the evolution of the Mexican State. He has directed and participated in research projects, including urban strategic plans and poverty diagnostics in Baja California. He has also been an advisor in government projects related to education and health. Jose Luis Bátiz López has extensive teaching experience, having taught at the undergraduate and master’s level at UABC and other institutions. His work in academic research and his commitment to social and economic development make him a leading figure in his field.
